Red Jar Energy Partners is proud to have been a key sponsor of yesterday’s insightful discussion on Indigenous economic self-determination, hosted by the Canadian Club Toronto.

A special thank you to National Chief Cindy Woodhouse - Nepinak from the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) for sharing her National Economic Statement, highlighting the critical role Indigenous leadership will play in shaping Canada's economic future.

This message aligns with our work alongside the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN). As Chief Woodhouse explained, economic reconciliation isn’t just a moral obligation, but a true strategic advantage for future generations. The future prosperity of our nation hinges on the strength of First Nations economies - We will not achieve our full potential until we have a strong, empowered First Nations economy.

Red Jar stands with First Nations across the country, recognizing their economic empowerment as key to Canada's growth. It’s time for First Nations to be part of critical conversations - federally, provincially, and internationally - and not as an afterthought, or an item on a checklist.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to this important discussion, it was great to see so many people out.
