As we wrap up the year and head into the holiday season, Red Jar is proud to reflect on the meaningful initiatives we've supported throughout the second half of 2025. Whether through our involvement in sport, or our broader community initiatives, our commitment to making a positive impact remained at the forefront of everything we do.
The Darling Home for Kids: Rally for DHK
Red Jar was honoured to participate, and serve as a key Sponsor of the Rally for DHK, an adventure-style fundraising event supporting children with complex medical needs and their families.
Unity for Autism: Golf Classic & Evening of Unity
As the Co-Title Sponsor of the Unity for Autism Golf Classic and the exclusive sponsor of An Evening of Unity, Red Jar is proud to help fund autism programs through a night of entertainment and advocacy. A special highlight was the appearance of Red, the Autism support dog!
Supporting Emerging Talent: Hannah Turkington
We are thrilled to support Canada Snowboard's newest Next Gen athlete for Snowboard Cross, Hannah Turkington. Hannah’s journey has been defined by resilience and determination, and we’re excited to continue to cheer her on to support as she takes on new challenges this season.
Smilezone Foundation: Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament
The Red Jar team participated in the Smilezone Foundation’s 11th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, which raised over $300,000 to help transform hospital waiting rooms, treatment rooms and patient care into “Smilezones”- safe and welcoming spaces for children to escape the stresses of their medical journeys.
Hockey Helps the Homeless
Stay tuned for exciting updates on Red Jar’s continued support and involvement with Hockey Helps the Homeless!
Unity for Autism: Board Leadership
We are honoured to support the incredible work of Unity for Autism, with Red Jar partner Jason Sparaga proudly serving as the President of the board. This year, Unity for Autism will provide grants to 36 organizations, totaling a record-breaking $821,500! This milestone brings the organization's total contributions to $10 million over the past 20 years. These grants help enhance the development and well-being of individuals with autism and reduce the long wait times for essential services. Recently funded programs include: Autism Dog Services Ontario, Haley Street Adult Services Centre, Heartland Forest Nature, QuickStart and several others making an impact across the Country.
Looking Ahead:
We’re grateful to be part of these meaningful initiatives and to support the important work being done in our communities. We look forward to continuing to give back in 2026. Stay tuned for updates.
